Xbox One S , Worth the Upgrade?

Xbox One S, the latest flagship console Microsoft has unveiled during its press conference at E3.

Specs

Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the previous Xbox One which makes it more portable and lightweight while travelling. The new design allows for better airflow and especially this time the power brick being built in the    console rather than as separate piece is  a dream come true for Xbox fans.
  •  Delivers 4K Ultra HD or Blu-ray 4K either through streaming by apps like Netflix or playback through blu-ray discs. Makes great use of your 4K TV's
  • Better processor which provides HDR (High dynamic-range rendering) for games like Forza Horizon 3 and other upcoming titles. This means that the console will provide u with a greater  visual depth and brighter and more colorful game play.
  • It has a vertical stand!! for 20 bucks of course
  • Microsoft provides a visual overhaul to its controllers at Design Lab  for $80 and $90 for inscribing. Originally the controllers cost for $60 so I don't believe it would hurt a lot getting a sick customization. The controller also features button mapping, nothing new though.
  • Another neat feature is the IR blaster which allows you to configure your Xbox to turn on other devices like T.V or Audio receivers
  •  It features 2 HDMI in and out ports respectively and 2 USB ports.

Xbox One S new controller introduces a textured grip , and coming with the base model the controller has a nice black and white color combination.
The successor of Xbox one seems to be a great console with balanced specs along with the price range. This compact model in my opinion is a much needed upgrade for Xbox lovers. The upcoming titles really compliment it very well by introducing its new HDR feature into gaming. The backward compatibility to the Xbox 360 allows people to play back the old legendary titles all over again...Thank lord Microsoft. Though it does have a little performance upgrade but we still do not know if it would render games at 900p or move up to 1080p , the biggest factor where Xbox fails to compete relies on HDR and it's still nice to know and see Xbox new stylish design with it's custom controllers and more. I feel now its ready to compete with PS4 finally, where the previous Xbox couldn't
